The goal of this workshop is to help camp staff understand that all of us have our limits. The workshop is done from the perspective of a camper with a disability who may require assistance with personal care and/or participating in activities. Staff are guided through a day in the life of a camper and must spent energy tokens in order to complete each task. Tasks range from getting out of bed in the morning to enjoying an afternoon in the pool.
The workshop can also serve as a launching point into self-care and teamwork by recognizing that we all need help with some tasks and working together makes the job easier for everyone.
