How do I register?

Click on the LOGIN icon at the top of the page.

Fill out the Account and Profile Details.

Go to your email and confirm/activate your account.

Login with your username and password.

How do I make changes to my account?

Click on the (login) icon in the top right of the page. This will open your dashboard. You can make changes and view your purchases from here.

BUYING AND DOWNLOADING

How do I make purchases?

Go to the product page of the resources you would like to buy and add it to your cart.

Click on the shopping cart icon in the top right of any page.

Follow the instructions from there. You can pay through PayPal or use a credit card. All credit card information is processed by Stripe. Our website does NOT keep your credit card information even though our site is SSL encrypted.

After your purchase you will be taken to a confirmation page where you can download your resource. You will also get an email confirmation with a link. If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder.

What are the payment options?

You can pay through PayPal or by credit card. Credit card processing is done through Stripe.

How do I open a ZIP file?

A ZIP file is a compressed folder containing multiple files. It allows the seller to include multiple file in their resource. It also takes up less storage space than if the files were all separate due to the compression of the ZIP file.

It’s easy to open ZIP files on a Mac and PC.

PC

  1. ON A PC right click on the ZIP folder.
  2. Choose “Extract All”.
  3. Choose a destination, where you want to keep the resource files.
  4. Click “Extract.”

MAC

  • ON A MAC double-click the ZIP file, and it should extract automatically.
  1. If that doesn’t work, hold down the control key and click the ZIP file icon.
  2. Choose “Open With” and then select “Archive Utility.” The utility will extract the ZIP files and you can find them in the same folder where you downloaded them.

If you’re still having trouble opening a ZIP file there are a couple of free websites you can use to extract the files

What is the Refund Policy?

Contact us with the reason you are requesting a refund. We will then issue the refund and address the problem with the vendor. Resources that receive two requests for a refund will be reviewed and/or taken off the site.

If we suspect a customer is abusing the refund policy, we may delete their account.

How do I view my purchases?

Go to your dashboard by clicking on the icon at the top right of the page.

How do I search for resources?

Option 1
Use the Search Bar.

Option 2
Choose a category from the home page to see all the resources in that category.

Option 3
Click on SHOP in the menu. On that page you will see ALL the resources. Use the filtering options in the side bar to find what you’re looking for.

How do I download the items I purchased?

Option 1
When you purchase a resource, a new page will open up with the links to download your purchases. We suggest you download them to your computer, an external drive or a site like Dropbox.

Option 2
You will also receive an automatic email that is your receipt and has the links to the resources (the titles of the resources). Occasionally, that email will go to spam. Please check there if you did not receive it.

Option 3
Alternatively, you can always go to your Patchwork account to access your past purchases. Login and open your dashboard.

RATINGS AND FEEDBACK

Rating and Reviewing a Resource

Rating and leaving feedback for the resources you have purchased is an important part of any marketplace.

  • You must be logged in to your account.
  • Your feedback must be at least 10 words long.
  • Please do not give the product a low rating if you are having technical problems. Contact the author first to resolve it.
  • Please give clear feedback as to why you rated the product the way you did.

Reviews and feedback are not instantaneous. However, all product reviews will show within 24 hours.

COMMUNICATION

How do I contact a vendor?

Go to their vendor page. You can do this by going to one of their resource pages and clicking on their store name.

Once you’re on their store page, click on their email link to email them.

If you cannot find their email or you do not get a reply, contact us.
